RoMaDyn of Minden, Nevada (A Family Company) opens its doors to offer Rotating Machinery Engineering Services. RoMaDyn will be a global consultancy specialized in the field of rotating machinery dynamics. With 50 years of experience in the field of machinery protection, RoMaDyn’s founder and chief executive officer states “I strive to offer unbiased advice based on sound engineering principles.” He goes on to say that it is his passion and commitment to use his experience helping customers succeed in today’s extremely competitive business environment by advancing the state of the art in machinery protection.
RoMaDyn will offer essential engineering services needed to protect and optimize the operation of rotating machinery assets. Their team of experienced professionals, led by Global Services Manager, G. Richard Thomas, P.E. will provide assistance in the following three areas; Machinery Diagnostics, Product Services, and Technical Training.
Machinery Diagnostics is the science of diagnosing the root cause of rotating machinery malfunctions that can lead to reliability or performance problems. RoMaDyn’s experience includes the diagnostics of a wide range of rotating machinery malfunctions on equipment such as turbines, compressors, motors, generators, and pumps.
Product Services covers service of vibration instrumentation. Often plant engineers are not sure what type of instrumentation is needed to protect valuable plant assets. RoMaDyn will help engineers specify, install, verify, repair, and maintain vibration monitoring instruments from a wide variety of vendors.
RoMaDyn also plans to hold Technical Training seminars that will address topics such as; Machinery Diagnostics, Balancing, Alignment, Vibration Monitoring System Operation and Maintenance, and Externally Pressurized Bearings. Initially, seminars will be offered at the company’s Houston, Texas and Minden, Nevada training facilities or upon request at customer’s sites.
